La’Vada Bell – Legal Assistant/Paralegal

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.  I graduated from Woodward High school, number 7 in my class. I originally pursued a career in healthcare and received a Health Unit Coordinator Certificate from Great Oaks in 2006. I worked in healthcare administration for the major hospitals in the Cincinnati areas such as Children’s and University hospital as well as for some top medical insurance companies such as Anthem and Humana.  During this time, I became a single mom and while experiencing some unfair situations legally regarding my family, I decided to go back to school to become a Paralegal so I can help others know and fight for their rights.

After obtaining my Paralegal degree from Brown Mackie College, I decided to get my Business Management degree as well. I interned at a private criminal practice in downtown, Cincinnati and became an office manager of Support staff at a law firm in West Chester, Ohio. I also participated in the startup of Cincinnati Preschool Promise in administrative support, working closely with the families. During the Covid Pandemic, I obtained my Notary commission and started a business offering Notary services specializing in real estate closings that led to me working as a real estate Paralegal.

In my spare time, I am a full-time single mom of 3 and grandma. I’m a sports mom as my children participate in a variety of sports from football to track to basketball.  I also still do real estate closings in the evenings and weekends for my notary business.  My love for working with families and helping them to resolve issues led me to Tibbs Law Office where I am excited to be a part of the team!
